While I have guitars of many colors, the more natural are my favories, particularly the early (54) Stratocaster two-tone bursts.
I think I'm done with Stratocasters ... unless I come across the gunmetal one.![]()
Done ? ... build one in that color.
Cheers, Barrie.

For Les Paul, it's gold all the way. It just works well in many lighting scenarios on an arch top guitar.
For offsets, I prefer tobacco burst, or Oxblood if it's one solid color.
For acoustics, I prefer natural.
Hollah. Great idea. I think that's a summer project.![]()
Keep us posted once you start that guitar project.
Yes!!! The Troy Van Leeuwen Jazzmaster! Just mean looking all the way round. Good choice!
The sunburst one? That's my 04 Jagmaster with my own touches. What is the offset in the third picture ?

So dark...so badass!!!Here's one I spotted on a local web classified, ... Bordeaux Red.
It's from a 2014 60th Anniversary Fender American Standard Stratocaster Bordeaux Red Custom Shop Fat 50's pickups.
Now THAT is red.
Cheers, Barrie.
