Greetings,

I'm looking for any information on my Squier by Fender, Made in Korea. Silver "Squier by Fender" logo on the reverse headstock. Floyd Rose II. Two humbuckers and one single coil with a 5 way blade. Paint shifts between purple and blue.

SN is an E9 series, from what I've found, those were made in 1989.

An email to Fender got me this far,
"Most overseas made instruments are not logged here and our system goes back to 1993.

As a result, Fender does not have detailed build and spec data for these guitars on file."

What was the model, and where can I find any literature on this thing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would've said it's a StageMaster or Showmaster but I don't know whether Squier made them as far back as 1989. I have a 2000 Stagemaster HSH Deluxe. It too is Korean.

You can try Fuzzfaced.net or Squier-Wiki.com. Fuzz has good info however the website is a tad bit difficult to navigate in. Squier-Wiki has better navigation but the info can have a few errors, it's a one man project here.

That thing rules.

That fretboard needs some moisture love though. Catch it before it splits.

That's a good looking axe. I've seen those around, but never one like mine.

You must be very happy happy, just stunning! Strats with a good Floyd Rose are prime,,,

Amen Bro (not that I'm the religious type, eh)!

Anything with a good Floyd/equivalent rocks!
