Oh my,...well you are safe and that is what matters the most. I LOVE the guitar and strap...have that same thing now on my amp..crime scene do not cross....

For now, I'll just work on repairing the posts. I don't think I have any spare L-brackets laying around. Maybe a trip to WM tomorrow.

You might try epoxy to fix the wonky posts, worst case you can dowel and re drill. Or dowel and re drill and put this in.

I pulled the guitar apart. Glued up the broken wood and braced it. It's in clamps right now ... hoping the glue will dry by tomorrow. I hope it'll hold.
