I was a Butcher and Braunschwieger and Liverwurst are made the same but Braun is smoked. It is also safer to eat than "Worst". Both Liver sausage. Mostly Pork livers in Braun these days. Liverwurst was one of the Products that helped close Boars Head Factory with Listeria! I just ate some Braun last week and this week is Bologna!I've always known it as Braunschweiger. Are they not the same?
