Rather than complain about having to deal with them or whatever, just seeing how they’re dealing with this situation (mostly just shrugging and “getting on with it”) is inspirational to me, to not focus on what we CAN’T do, and remember what we still CAN-love each other and make the best of a weird situation!

Nice thought there mate, despite all the shortages that we're experiencing, there is shortage of love.

I'm very thankful to have a secure job. Strange how things work out. In a time of financial insecurity for so many, my wife and I are more stable than ever. No where near wealthy, but after scraping by for 20+ yrs. It is a great feeling to have some security.

I hear ya Vin … The Mrs and I are Okie Dokie too. Retired with numerous pensions etc. The only hit seems to be some investments on the wifes' side, but nothin' devastating.

Same here, recently inherited a house, so no mortgage or rent.My wife s teaching form home and I work alone in her families bakery.It is a great relief to have some breathing room in our finances.I know there are many who are struggling.
