A Gender? Gibson/Fender Flying V

Off on a Flying V kick, {today ....}, should be getting one tomorrow, Actually, a Dean VX, used but cheap. Ran across this vid yesterday of a V mated to a Fender neck and I love it. Yes, it's pretty much the answer to a question nobody asked, but given the color/pickguard/fretboard combo, it def works for me. Is it a Fibson? A Gender? Take a look if you're so inclined ....

That is pretty cool! It’s like my “Gender” project. I’m dragging my feet on this because I’m scared of drilling the new bridge and tailpiece holes. I need to just do it!

I've been wanting a Flying V for awhile. It may be my next purchase. But I wasn't thrilled with the Epi Goth V. Gonna try for a Harley Benton V. We'll see.

You might find this interesting - a guys selling a "refinished" Dean and for a $125.00 guitar, looks pretty sweet/old skool. Nice idea for the future!

Yeah I'd be all over that. Being a Canuck, it's pretty hard to get in on some of these "CONUS / Lower 48" type deals...

I swear I saw Danny Klein (bass player for J Geils Band) playing a Flying V with a Fender bass neck grafted on. Of course I can’t find a pic online to save my life...
