Not 100% sure I’ve got the wiring done correctly, but noise came out and sounded like a bass!

anyone else feel a secret sense of relief when you get all that wiring soldered and buttoned up, and the thing actually works?

Bought it for $50, spent another $50 on the pickguard, and $12 for a neckplate and screws, and $6 for stain. I put a new set of strings on, I think they were $25, and sold it this morning for $200.
That instrument sold new for $200, so I think I did as good as I could possibly do on the sale.
I learned several things on this project, got to try some things I had been curious about, and rehabbed a good instrument and turned it back out into the wild.
Can’t ask for more.
