hi every one 2 weeks ago i had bought a pevay signature series gold top that was a beauty i had taken it to two gigs at the second gig a guy offered to buy it he liked the way it sounded i let him play it and he fell in love with it .i had 150.00 in it he offered me 300.00 on the spot .it went home with him. so i went shopping for another lp type guitar i ended up at gc and thay had a lot of stuff some epiphones a few and other types none seemed write to me .i know the store manager pretty well and we talked for a wile i told him what i was looking for he said wait a few he went into his office and did some number crunching and directed me to a guitar he had just traded in . i got directed to a esp-ltd-ec 1000 fm deluxe .i sat and played it for almost an hour and this guitar is as smooth as silk not a nic or bump or ding it is to die for so i asked him how much he said i could have it for 250.00 with a hard case .this guitar got put in its case and went home with me. it has a seymour duncan jb in bridge and a 59 in neck a set of spergel usa locking tuners and amber sunburst finish . this guitar is just as nice as some gibsons i have played .i hope you enjoy it as much as i do.

pics dont really show the actual beauty of this guitar in person it says just pick me up and play me .i agree with ghostwolf 59s are the best sounding for neck the jb screams listen to this. i have not put this guitar down since i got it my fingers are wanting a lunch break .i have a gig on thurs i cant wait to hear it in a big room.

just a recap i took this guitar with me on its first gig and all i can say is this guitar loves to be played i played it for four sets .it just melts like a good tasting candy.the 24 frets and the wood tone just rings pure .i love my tele but this going to be my go to guitar .

You probably did pretty good on this deal. ESP makes some fine guitars, and I read this model sells for about $ 650 to $ 850 new, without a case.

I understand completely, when I was shopping for a LP at GC - it took about 4 months and playing about 40 or so of the same model before I found one I liked... Epi LP standard (and not near as pretty as your new baby).

i agree gc has them listed used in most stores for 600.00 w/o case i played a lot of epi.lps and they all felt ok but nothing to write home about i had a few of them over the years.as for my deal i feel like i came out on top.
