I put in a Tonerider Humbucker sized P90 in the neck. For now, the middle strat pickup is still wired and in place underneath the pickguard. Naturally, a drop of volume on those settings but usable.
The regular pickguard isnt standard tele shaped.It has a different right hand curve as well as curved heel shape for a strat neck.
For now, I dont mind the dodgy visual on the pickguard fit...The middle strat pickup left under the guard, im unsure. I'll probably just rout the existing pickguard for the P90...
More importantly, im absolutely loving this new neck pickup sound. Jazzy and articulate!.
