Sorry for stealing that post title AliceUnchained, but it suited my post.

Looking for either a reverb or delay to wet my VOX MV50 tones. I really don't want to invest a bundle in that, but am curious about all the Chinese tiny pedals. One or the other would do. I'm not going to use them dialed at 10. It will just be so the sound isn't too dry. I could also move to a school gym or an arena.

What have you got you like or don't. And/or have any you want to get rid of.

I was looking at a Donner Yellow Fall ...

I have a few of the Donner pedals they sent me. I'd really like to try the Square Verb.

Like you mentioned, you don't want to spend a ton -so Things like TC Hall of Fame or EHX O-11 nudge that to be too expensive. I have the Skysurfer and well.. A bit underwhelmed.

So if you are spending a nominal price anyway, go with something like the Square Verb which has a few different settings even if you don't use them all the time. Those are "included in the price" and it's always fun to mess with pedals so you're getting a bonus.

Here is the low cost Delay I have a Valeton Coral Echo on some settings it gives a reverb type sound and on other settings it sounds like a traditional Delay. I think I paid less than 40$ for it

I've got one of these dinosaurs. It's a one trick pony, but it does that trick really well. You won't get a bunch of spacey sounding oddball noises out of it, but the basic spring reverb is as close to the real deal as you can get without the springs.

I have a Tomsline Ocean Verb and as far as pedals go it is pretty good. Don't remember what a paid but it was pretty inexpensive.

That said, if you are at all handy I suggest buying a real spring reverb tank and installing it the amp, or as an outside pass through if there is no room. Far far superior sound.
