...you don’t know the difference between a “guitar player” and a “guitarist”. EDIT: At this point in my guitar related skillset, I am merely a “guitar owner”.
OMG! You guys have described me perfectly, except for a couple of points- I don't keep picks in my pockets, I don't even own a car, my ride is a cheap bike from Walmart (but my least expensive guitar cost more than it, but my bike still has fewer pedals than those between my guitar and amp, not even counting the two drawers full of pedals), and the top panels on most of my amps are too narrow to use as shelves, except to hold picks.
Hahaha, best one so far. Do I know the difference between "Tomato" and "Salmon" in my colour chart? No. but I know these two! lol
A hazel-eyed raven haired temptress pushes through a crowd, pins you to a wall and breathlessly whispers.. "I just snapped my G-string" Wrinkle browed and exhaling you fumble in your gigbag saying " Wound or Unwound? I'm not going to split a pack but I've got a few single ones somewhere..."
If you planned a day trip to a casino, two hours away plus a ferry ride for 5 in my group. Left the group at casino for for two hours, while I made the 45 min trip to check out a guitar I saw on Craigslist. Bought the guitar, got back in time to take the family to a nice lunch. I will do that for the right Gibson SG at the right price. And, it was a fun day for everyone.
...you talk to your guitars and they answer back. And you make sure that you never hurt their feelings , even if they are crap.
