    Happy New Year, S-T!

Long story short, my son gave me a Motorhead tee for Christmas, so here's my cover of Ace of Spades.

Felt like I needed some racing stripes for Motorhead so went to the VM Mustang. I color-corrected the video to make the guitar the color that I wish it was. One take, mistakes and all.

    RIP Lemmy.

Playing the short scale Mustang tuned to Eb with 10s is a little like driving a rear wheel drive muscle car in the snow. It’s really fun, but you can get sideways pretty easy.

Thanks guys, just having some fun riffing along with ol' Lemmy.

The beer fridge in the jam room is always stocked!

Btw, this is the first recording I've ever made using my wireless system. I think it's called Getaria? Dirt cheap from Amazon. Gotta say I'm impressed.

EDIT: also it's a Bullet Mustang, not VM. duh.

If you're not getting a little bit sideways, what's the point? ;)

My point was that Decades before ANYone heard the term "drifting", us in the snow belt were doing exactly that on a daily and sometimes hourly basis, and that there was nothing better for the job than a nose heavy muscle car. If the damn thing would have had disc brakes instead of drums, it would have been perfect for the job:
(this is a '68 big block but you get the idea)
Years down the line I still miss the damn thing for all its faults,...:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
