This hurts just looking at it. Concrete floor? No padding or protection?

What is this guy thinking ???

I suppose we can't know for sure that there isn't a small pad that you can't see under the guitar body and something very small under the head. I remember making a photo similar to that at some point, a long time ago.

He's going to drag it around on the patio, to relic it out. Will be worth more money, smart guy.

If he is just doing it for a cool photo, he might have something under the guitar we can’t see.

It is a slow form of relicing.

    RC addiction....
For just a quick picture and setting it down carefully, I don't t think its going to hurt anything. Leaving it there long term is a termite buffet.....:D It would be a better picture if the wall wasn't in the shot.

Some folks just aren't concerned about taking care of their things.

I see some of the pics on SGW and scratch my head wondering "How does a guitar get in that condition? It's an instrument not a sledgehammer!".

Yeah, you guys could be right. Maybe there's a pad underneath. But it still gives the impression that the guitar in on the concrete. Unless he's giving it away, I'm not interested.

Could be worse. It might have been a Les Paul.

People do what we won't. Is that uncommon?

There's a lot done by others that I wouldn't choose to do that makes this seem like nothing. With things more, shall I say, "precious" than this (or any) guitar. So????

Like this ? Brand new, 48 hour old on the basement concrete floor.

    c.jpg
It has a wine bottle cork under the headstock and a thin piece of foam under the body.

What about this one in a snowbank ?
