I would have
Tony Williams on drums
Ron Carter on bass
me on various noise
and Daniel Rosten of Marduk for some vocals and additional effects.
I'll go with comfortable for me, not needing famous folks, just fun. Lead guitar - me .... standup bass - a friend Carl G who's a super cool guy, an art professor who teaches at the local college ( he plays more than just bass, but will go with bass here - he plays guitar, banjo, mandolin iirc, and plays a mean washboard )....mandolin and vocals, another friend Nikki S (super sweet woman, great voice)....fingerpickin' acoustic - my go to guitar fixin' dude Donnie B...have played with Carl and Nikki at my "liberal church," adding Donnie would be cool, he's about as liberal as ya can get...would be great fun. I'd be intimidated with playing with famous folks, honestly, and I would suck worse than normal IF I must use famous folks, I'd go with Elvis Costello on vocals/rhythm, Bruce Thomas on bass, Pete Thomas 0n drums, Steve Nieve on keys, me on lead - yeah, Elvis Costello and The Attractions and me
Drums: Meg White
Bass: Sean Yseult
Guitar: Jack White
Guitar: Ricky Wilson
Vocals: Janis Joplin
Keyboards: Mark Mothersbaugh
Everybody is treating the COVID differently, but my friends and I have gone back to playing together. And the answer to the post is jamming with them. We are the same level and have a great time, I would be so intimidated trying to play with a pro....
I wouldn’t know where to start anyway.....
@Bluzy sigh, can you talk to my buddies PLEASE!
frick, i'd love to hang out with anyone human at this point
Yeah. I am in the same headspace TheKurdtz.
Any of you live near Apache Junction, AZ?
I don't what country The Arboritum is is, but in the US we can still travel freely.
Yes sir, darn tootin’! This Arboritum can be found in the Land of the Longleaf Pine, just south of the City of Oaks. My jamlessness is not a result of immobility but the concerns of my peers.
I'll keep it simple: The original Lynyrd Skynyrd
Layne Staley on vocals and chris cornell on guitar. It's ok with me is chris sneaks some lead vocals in there. Cantrell on lead, matt Cameron on drums and steve chassis on bass.
As a bonus al perkins on slide/ pedal steel. See what that schizo mix will do.
Or maybe just jam with Manassas and Stills. I'd probably fit in better
Oh no wait. Schenker on lead.
Or maybe still Manassas? Idk
I can smell the flannel from here.
