Great Riff! I`ve been having a crack at quite a few Schenker era UFO songs recently...`Only You Can Rock Me` is a particular favourite,
And this today... I got the Rythmn down a lil while ago. The Leads are out of my league, currently. Carl the instructor, is the best in my opinion. 2nd Fav is Marty Schwartz. Somebody get me a doctor. RIP Eddie VH.
This is the first solo I learned that actually sounded like the recording. Still love that solo. Always liked this one too. Kind of dark and a little moody. I play this in my band, Doors tribute band. I always enjoy it, one of my favorite Doors tunes. I'm working on Waiting for the Sun. Open D with a Slide, I only do a couple of songs with a slide. I'm still learning how to use one.
On bass, The Police: Spirits In the Material World, Beds Too Big Without You, Roxanne, Bob Marley: Is This Love, Blondie: Heart of Glass Guitar: The Offspring: Come Out and Play, Dirty Looks: LA Anna, The Clash: Should I Stay or Should I Go, Iggy & The Stooges: I Wanna Be Your Dog
Billy in the Lowground, an advanced version of the bluegrass standard. I play bluegrass ... but bluegrass always win.
"Current"ly? AC/DC, electric guitar, pedals....you, know, using AC to the amp, DC in pedals......just a dumb joke I couldn't resist making, and was too lazy to see if someone already posted something the same
I'm learning the songs of the celtic punk band I joined, so many days I'm tabbing out solos and rhythm from their album on both the guitar and the mandolin. Yesterday I learned the solo from Ween's Ocean Man, as I'm making a cover version for my Warcraft guild. It's our theme song.
I started learning "Rain Song" by Led Zeppelin in standard tuning last night. There are some hard ass contortionist chords in that one but hey, gotta go outside my comfort zone to get better right..
