Acquired a Squire 70s Jaguar with s/n ICFS20013692. I can find a lot of info on ICS (Indonesia, Cort, Squire) but what the heck is the F for? And the rest of the numbers don't seem to match up with traditional syntax. Thx.

If you want your guitar identified you will have to post some pictures of it. Welcome to squier talk. :)

Good picks will work we just have to wait for one of the guitar gods to swing by and identify it. There is a few guys here who are so good at this they will be able to tell you exactly what you want to know. It's a nice looking Jag cheers :)

With the block inlays and neck binding, looks like one of the CV's currently in production. However I'm no expert, I can't say with 100% certainty it's not something else.

My CV Jaguar starts ICSG...and I don't know what that stands for either :)

So that would mean it was made in February 2020, using the conventional dating for the year of production? That sounds (no pun intended) reasonable.

I would like to add what threw me a little is the picture shows the serial number to start with ICSF but it was written as ICFS.

Thanks everyone for the help and welcoming. Looks like the last letter may be the month, simple enough.

right? in mint, without a full concours restoration, probably around $150K give or take. but they're out there for less.

The XK140 and 150 are some of my favorite cars of all time (much sleeker than the skinnier XK120, IMO), as well as the XKE and 3.4 Sedan, along with the Aston Martin DB5 and 6, and the Auburn Boattail Speedster, MB 540K, Duesenberg SJ, and Stutz Super Bearcat

They'd all set you back millions, if you could find someone willing to part with one

Okay, so I get the humor, but only sort of. I thought this site was about Squire guitars. Is it always this bad, and where is the moderator? Sorry I asked the question in the first place. Good luck.
