Mine is a 1991 G&L ASAT. Bought it new. We've watched a lot of others come and go over the last 25 years together.

My 2000 Affinity Strat was given to me back in 2005 by my uncle-in-law, just prior to his passing. She's got some sentimental value and will always be around. This is where it started for me. I only wish I had dug in on lessons, back then.

A Tatay classical that I got through Lenny Frank when I was studying with him back in 1963.

I have no photo of the guitar today (frankly it is rarely played -- just stored away in a case). But here's a couple of photos of it -- first of a roadie tuning it up pre concert and then it in my hands later that same evening.

70's ? Solid Body Guild - Neck thru - strat style double cutaway - single soapbar ( small p-90 looking - long gone ) 3 on a side strip tuners with plastic knobs ( swapped for real schallers ) - non intonatable bridge ( swapped for a Schaller wraparound ) Current pickups gold lace in the neck silver in the middle / bridge with a LP style 3 way switch single volume single tone - bought it used for $50.00 with 2 Alfred's guitar books #1 and #2 in a chipboard case 1978. She's a wall queen now - haven't played her in over 5 years or more ? Oh - it was a deep Maroon - I redid her poorly natural - I think she is Mahogany ? Man where did the years go ? lol DSC01068.JPG

98 Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop that i bought from Fred's Music Shop in Shillington, PA.
Had it for 18 years. He just got it in the day I was fantasy shopping in his store. I was the first person besides Fred himself to touch it. I could not leave the place without it.

Takamine F360S. Solid Sitka Spruce top, solid rosewood sides and back.

A love affair 38 years in the making. I met her at McFayden Music in Fayetteville, NC in 1978. She was brand new. She looked so sweet and innocent and had a voice like an angel. And I had scraped just enough together to treat her right that day. I was a young Paratrooper stationed at Ft Bragg living in the barracks and I wanted a guitar again. And I know it's hard to believe, but she came home with me. And she has stayed with me. And she is still my sweetheart.

Really cool. I've had two early 90's Takamine acoustic/electrics. Both gone now. I've never seen that headstock logo. I like it.

I wish they would reintroduce the old style headstock and logo...my favorite of theirs. It was only a move by them to settle the lawsuit they were facing from Martin in the 70's.

Still use that amp in the pic and have the K-Horns too. My buddies 79-80 hard tail is seen leaning against the back of the amp too.

Technically still own a 60's Rocket I bought as a teen, one of four but it has been out on loan for the last 25 years :) soooooo not exactly in my possession.

1975 Epiphone Caballero. My first guitar since I truly learned how to play. Now, my first electric guitar since I learned to play is a 1999 Hamer Sunburst Flattop and I still have it too.

The reason I say "since I learned to play" is because I had 3 guitars during my teenage years and my early 20s, but I never learned to play them and they're gone unfortunately
