I've tried many, many pickups in 9 strats over the years and I have to say I can get along with any of them. I really like the pickups that come in the Classic Vibe 60's strats.

I'm sure he's just overwhelmed ! ! Give him a little more time

yes I understand he’s probably overwhelmed. That’s why I’m fine with it taking as long as it needs( although going on 4 months is a little longer than I expected). Problem here is the failure to respond to all the emails about an address change. Now I have no idea if it already shipped and was stolen, or returned to sender, or if I’m still waiting.

Bootstrap '54 Vintage Pro's. They're classic 3 of a kind vintage Fender style pickups. Just put a set in my VM 70's Strat and they give the exact vintage Strat tone I have in my head. Only $50 a set with solid build and materials.

I see that sneaky "Cool Hand Luke" quote there! And yes, that is quite an infuriating problem.

The Fender ‘65s are mellow without too much high end.

I get by on my stock Classic 50s which seem like ‘57 pickups which are very chimey and sharp, maybe too much at times.

Same. I dig the stock pickups a lot. I like them
better than any boutique pickups I’ve tried yet.

I’m a little superstitious about changing a good thing so I’m looking forward to scoring another CV Strat someday to experiment with.

On my budget, these pups have always been my go to's.
They just sound really "stratty" and won't break my piggy bank.
I use the sc101b in the neck and bridge position.
Hot as Hades but I lower the neck pup to compensate
