Don't waste your time. To look at it from another angle... why waste your time?

    Move on.

If prices aren't realistic, sit down and play your guitar until they are.

I mean, I know it's somewhat rare, but 2500 bucks?

... You're missing a zero... He's got it at 25,000

Two possible thoughts on that one:

1: is like someone mentioned, he was told to thin there herd but doesn't want to...

Now he can at least honestly say: "Well, I've got it listed, dear... But nobody's bought it..."

2: he meant to list for $250.00...

My quick input here: folks don't want to sell right away, when pricing items as such. I'm actually thinking about doing that with that Bird MIJ Strat copy I've got - I don't necessarily want to get rid of it, nor I desperately need the money. Why not listing it and ask a price that, despite being over what it would be worth in the market, is still reasonably fair for a buyer who wants that guitar specifically?

It might take a good while until someone even considers paying that much but it will certainly happen sooner or later, and even if someone proposes a lower offer, I'm free to consider if I want to sell it for that much. Until then, I can enjoy my guitar.

Anything over $700 is way overpriced. IMO
