    Honestly, yes. I’ve wired this Blacktop Tele every which way... straight three way, five way splitting the coils, and then five way serial/parallel.... I found that 98% of the time I’d still be using it like a three way... so I put it back to a three way.

    I also tried string saver saddles... killed the bright end, went back to block saddles from a standard Tele.

    I really dig that tightly grained Tele! I have a piece of 30-40 year old pine that I hope to build into a similar body.
