My guitar instructor has told me about a software called 'Guitar Pro', but I've never used it. There is a one-week trial period that allows you to try it for free to see if it matches your need.

Hey there!

Im looking for an app for my iPad that can listen to a song from YouTube or Spotify and transcribe it into guitar tabs…..

does such an app exist?

thanks!

Sorry wouldn't know, I'm more an android user.

LOL, someone answered for the iOS side while I was looking around in the Apple store and eventually found the same app, Capo. 🤣

On ios I’m using the guitar pro app (I have the pc version also) Its basic on the app side but gets the job done.

Not a app but there is Chordify, that can analyze chords of songs/youtube videos. https://chordify.net/

My fav tool at the moment is https://www.looper.tube/
Takes any youtube video and you can set speed and sections to loop and practice.

I also have a older program that I use on pc but its been extinct for a while but may be available somewhere.
Fender bought them, made it free for awhile then it poofed.. Riffstation Pro. https://www.techradar.com/news/fend...e-get-the-chords-for-any-song-on-your-desktop
It works pretty well…
