    In the years following my chosen exodus from the world if rock and roll there have been only two artists that truly caught my imagination, and Stevie Ray was one of them.

    Jan, too, so we may well tune in!

    Exactly! I still remember the first time I heard SRV. It must've been around '84. I was a drummer then and probably playing along to the radio in the corner of our basement when a special came on. It was a mix of SRV interview and his music. I remember just sitting on the stool and listening. I was too uneducated in the ways of guitar to understand his prowess, but the music and the Texas blues just kind of stopped me in my tracks. Good memories.
