Damn.....I just had a full sized neck put on and also am planning to cram an orange crush mini into it....how are you doing with it and please show me if it is feasible!Hi there, I've got a Squier Mini [PR755] exactly like your picture, well it is now, but not for much longer..
It's getting a full sized scale neck upgrade, and I'm replacing the 1 watt amp [which is very tame] with the guts from an Orange Micro Crush 3W amp. [anything else requires major chopping about to fit] So it's some minor chopping about, and
I know I should have taken photos but as it's halfway through, your pic can be the before.. and I'll post the after pic. [If I succeed that is].
I’m doing the exact same thing.....reply with instructions and things to be alert for....Hi there, I've got a Squier Mini [PR755] exactly like your picture, well it is now, but not for much longer..

Another 3 plus year old Post? You can put a Roasted Strat Neck in at 25.5" Scale from what I have heard. Or Fire up the Oven!I'm looking for someone to make me a roasted maple neck for my Squier mini Strat. I think they are so cool, I can't figure why parts manufacturers don't make bodies and necks for them.

Yes way. They are conversion necks. No way
at least ...not without moving the bridge south
NO DRILL PRESS!!!!!!!!!! Just ream other side and should work! So…I’m trying to “black-out” my Mini.

BRIDGE was easy peasy; direct fit…but the tuners I bought (Black Grover Mini Rotomatics), of course, didn’t fit the stock holes.
I’d read, you have NO chance…of drilling them out, without screwing up the alignment (and I’m no woodworking guru to begin with).
I thought I’d outsmarted the universe…and got a $5 hand “reamer” from Harbor Freight. It took hours, and a handful of blisters…to get the proper width. But, I at least thought I was “one down”. Nope; that was just ONE side of the head…and the tuners still wouldn’t pass through. It needs the same done, on the OTHER side of the head.
It took the wind out of my sails. I thought that maybe, now that I had ONE (of ONE hole) done; I COULD, carefully…like use a drill press to finish the job. But a) I’m not sure, I’ve got 5 more of that effort in me; and b) that I still might not end up, screwing things up.
What do you think my options are, at this point? Was/is there…a better way to approach this? I thought about just getting a new neck, and researching drop-in tuners; but…a) necks…when they even become available; or even a used, “parts” Mini…run ~$100. And b) I’d be out the Grovers (although maybe I could sell them, and get a little money back).
Sorry for droning on. Thoughts? Thanks
Maybe not being 1/4"? Might need to spread out your Spline just a little. Mini Pots usually have a smaller shaft. These will be perfect https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/099-1365-000--fender-stratocaster-replacement-knobs-black
Good?
Just picked this up.
Seems as well put together as a Bullet to me.
Sounds like a strat as well View attachment 66724
