I scored this jagmaster earlier today for $75 - i have all the electronics including pickups, pots, a 3 way switch and a tone cap as well as new strings here. What I need to secure is a bridge and tuners. The tuners are the old style single pin Squier tuners from the early 2000's. I have no idea what the string spacing on this is and I know I need that to purchase the right bridge. Does anyone know what string space was used on a 2004 made in china jagmaster? As far as the tuners, I can find the two post ones everywhere. Planning to go digging through parts bins at local shops near where I live over the next week or so looking for parts.

Great find at $75. My 2002 MIC has 2 1/16” spacing. The full trem is abt 3 1/4” end to end, including the bar hole. Sadly, the guitar got dismantled when my parents moved years ago. Looking forward to rebuilding it. Good memories.

please check if a bog-standard Squire Strat bridge, like from an Affinity would fit the bill. My money is on the Bullet to be a straight drop-in replacement but I never had the Jagmaster-just seen lots of pics. But if you do have a Bullet laying around, just "borrow" the bridge a lil bit and check the fit (and don't forget to return it afterwards, Bullets are nicer than many folks believe, the recent ones at least). If it is anything like the Mustang, the Bullet should just click. If not..sorry,,,

I don’t have a parts donor guitar at the moment but definitely that’s one thing I’ve been looking around for. The Squier jagmaster lands this weekend so I’ll check it out and see

More progress - a new bridge, new string trees, and tuners. I bought this awesome drilling jig on eBay for making the new holes for double post tuners. Good stuff and very nice results.

More photos. Also installed black Dunlop strap lock buttons today. Hope to solder it up and put strings on it for a play test through my amp tomorrow.

Wired up the Seymour Duncan P-Rails today with only the 3 way switch and volume control straight into the output jack. So glad I kept these pickups from another guitar i sold because they absolutely rip! Need to intonate it and find more pickguard screws. At some point I will add two push/pull pots for Series/Parallel and coil select. For now though it plays and sounds great. I did this for less than $200 between the empty guitar purchase, the string trees, tremolo, tuners, and the drilling jig. The duncan p-rails I've had for at least 10 years or so now.
