I need the dimensions of a Squier Champ 25GR. Length, height, width. I called Fender and they do not have it. Google doesn't want to find it either. Go figure.

So if you have one please measure it!

Thanks!

A couple of months ago, there was an ended eBay auction for a well used one with a 12” speaker, but I haven’t seen any after that except for ones that seem to have a smaller speaker, maybe 10”. I see Squier amps regularly with other than “25” in their names and with 10” speakers on eBay or Reverb auctions. Good luck, I’m interested in hearing the history of Squier amps.

One listed here; and I copied and pasted a picture of it below.

That ad doesn’t give the size, but has a 10” speaker, and look similar in size to my Frontman 25R, which also has a 10”. Ad says it is available for local pick in Canada. I’d like to have one, but not driving there to get that one!

The Frontman 25R specs per Fender Manuals.

History:

"Meanwhile, the all-solid state Champion 110 had been introduced in 1993; it too was a 25-watt dual-channel amp, this time with a single 10-inch speaker. Squier too entered the field in this era, introducing several solid-state models in 1995—the Champ 15G (15 watts, one 8-inch speaker), Champ 15GR (15 watts, one 8-inch speaker, reverb), Champ 25GR (25 watts, one 10-inch speaker, reverb) and Champ 15B (15 watts, one 10-inch speaker)—all of which lasted through 1997."

DIMENSIONS:

HEIGHT: 15.5 in (39 cm)
WIDTH: 17 in (43 cm)
DEPTH: 8.5 in (21 cm)

Here’s my “Squier” Frontman 25R. A buddy made the cab so it would hold a 15” speaker, and originally to hold my SF Champ. I realized the Frontman fit it also, and I decided I like it in there. The speaker cloth is burlap. My Squier amp is broke, so I used its’ logo.

The Fender Frontman 25R has the same control panel layout as the Squier 25R I found on eBay earlier.

^^^ Dude I love that -- May just change the badge on my Princeton 65 hahaha!!

Is the 25gr a pretty cool amp? Loud enough to jam w friends? Does the reverb remotely drip?

I mostly just play by myself at home nowadays, but it seems loud enough to use playing with others. I don’t like the first channel, the second with just a little gain and a touch of ‘verb sounds better, it leverages the tone controls. I bounce between it and a ‘72 silverface Champ, comparing tone. I think I slightly favor the Frontman. I also have an SFDR that sounds great, but if I ever had to lug one out my back would appreciate the light weight of the Champ or Frontman.
