Yes he does a bit. When I lived in Lebanon, Stewart and Ian Copeland were my best friends for a while. Ian was in my class at Manor House School and Stewart was a couple of years younger. But now I'm just a retired old git...but the memories are still there maybe fading a bit and with a rose tinted lens. Ian died a few years ago from melanoma..He was a realty nice guy. Thanks everyone for the likes for the video. That drummer looks so similar to Stewart Copeland.
Thanks!! I had a USA Strat for a while and in many ways I preferred the Bullet. The body might be laminate but it sustains very well and the clean sound is beautiful. Next time I change strings I'm going to take a pickup out to see if it's alnico. If it's ceramic I'll be amazed. Thanks again ...JerryLoved that! Old guys with Bullet One Squiers Rule! Especially with Contemporary Bullet HSTs! Rock on, Brothers!
Thanks!! Stiff?? I Remember that. Unfortunately prostate cancer put an end to that sort of nonsense.Great stuff
I'm in the same pay scale now :O

It's OK, I had a really good surgeon assisted by a robot. Wow, so they are ceramic? I play mostly acoustic these days so I probably won't change them, but thanks so much for that info. I managed to get a very good deal on a USA Martin D15 and a battered, but wonderful, USA Guild. D4. I'm obviously English but I was lucky enough to live in California and Lebanon in the Middle East and I just love American acoustic guitars. Sorry that last sentence didn't really make a lot of sense...Cheers...JerrySorry to hear that
The standard Squier Bullet pickups are usually ceramics. They aren't a bad sound I just prefer Alnicos for my stuff. My Bullet is an HSS and I have an old Wilkinson Neck Alnico 5 neck pickup in the Bridge and Tonerider TSR 1 Pure Vintage in the Middle and Neck positions![]()

The Guild was I guess a "cheap" model, but it is so loud and it sounds beautiful. The intonation is as perfect as a guitar can be. When I put new strings on it, it almost sounds like it's going through a chorus pedal. I also have a Taylor GS Mini E. If you're ever thinking of getting an acoustic I'd recommend one! They are made in Mexico but the quality is superb. Good Grief I sound like a salesman!! Sorry if I'm bragging...My wife wants me to sell a lot of my stuff and to be honest I don't blame her. I just love guitars..Cheers...JerryI'm not a big Acoustic player but I would love a Martin or Guild. They are a ,"Gold Standard" IMHO![]()
Wow thanks for that Michael. You guys are very generous with your help and knowledge. As I'm sure you know the specs. on this model are really good. Fender machine heads full size tremolo block and Fender saddles. I don't know if I am just lucky but the pickups on mine sound excellent, especially the 2 and 4 positions and the humbucker. I got mine brand new for £89 in 1989 (I think). It was a reject from a mail order company. I've done 100s of gigs with it in England and Europe. It's a real gem....if anyone comes across one Buy It!! Thanks...Jerry
Thanks everyone for the likes. It was fun making this video. TBH it's not really my genre of music, but I like the sentiment of the lyrics.Hi everyone, here's some old men being silly, but it features my Bullet one which I love. There is one swear word for which I apologize and I hope it won't offend anyone.
