So I was looking around at G.C. today and found this stratocaster that looks like a squier vintage modified 70s stratocaster. So here's the thing, the guitar is white with a rosewood neck, I think. Which I can't found any information on. Heres a picture that was on the site, it's only one shot of the guitar.

Bought it on line on GC used and should arrive in a week or so. I was thinking that it was a special color
run for a store or something like that.

Oh yeah, that’s also a possibility, but I can’t tell you for sure. You’ll see when it arrives I’m sure, if you got the serial number then, you can hit up fenders serial number lookup. That often works with Squiers too :)

If it's from Sweetwater it should have a nice setup. Never bought a guitar from them that didn't arrive in highly playable condition.
He said he got it from Guitar Center's used section. So it would depend on how the person who got it from Sweetwater initially took care of it.

I bought a brand new Fender Modern Player Plus Telecaster from them with the 55 point check. It came out of the box with the humbucker not attached and loose screws. Beautiful quitar and I can thank my lucky stars that the errant screw that I fished out wasn't rolling around in the box. I think mine was a few checks short on the list.

Ok guys the Stratocaster came in a couple of days and I finally had a chance to check it out.
So the first thing out of the box is how close this Stratocaster looks like the Squier deluxe Stratocaster that I have in Pearl white.
But this Stratocaster weighs much liter and has a Indian laurel wood neck. It needs some Lemon oil and should darken some.
It was made in 2018, I think that was the last year they made the VM 70. The color is white, but looks more like off white.
The neck plays really well with no feet edges out to hurt your hand. The pick ups also sound like the ones of my Squier Deluxe. Really happy with this Stratocaster and good guitar to add to my collection. Here are some pictures.
