Yes, you're right. I get em confused.
I have played the T-30 and T60s and they are amazing but very heavy.
The Jet king was another one that blew me away. My friend has one and it looks big an clunky but it plays as fast as a shredder.
MAN !!! I LOVE old Peaveys, I still have around 14 in shop, very very underated beasts. I like it that way, a can buy them for a song Have a peek www.robbsend.com
My friend that had the T-60 had the T-60 and the case for it that had a built in amp. The guitar case had a built in amp. Was pretty cool.
T-60 in action
Found the same case on the internet. My buddy sold the case awhile back.
I love the USA Predators because of the necks (as was mentioned before). I used one for a massive mod project and then sent it in to Premier Guitar’s “Reader Guitar of the Month” column. Here’s the write-up if anyone’s interested:
Great article Bruce, Peaveys have fine necks and are good plateforms to mod. Lets keep it our secret
You are not kidding. The necks are absolutely amazing.
I played peavey falcons and nitros for many years before "retiring" my originals.....the last 2 left of my previous stash o' peaveys
Love that song! It came on yesterday and I was playing along with it, had a blast.
You have most of them no secret
I was around 16 when the Peavey T-60's came out, I remember going to the local music store and playing it several times, wishing I could afford it. As I recall, they had a fabulous-feeling neck. I ended up getting what my budget could afford - some early-70's Japanese "pre-CBS" Les Paul clone.
I did eventually buy a brand new 1984-ish Peavey Renown amp that was my "daily driver" until it broke, around 2000-2001. That was a freakin' LOUD amp, basically a 400W PA system in a box.
I have more Peaveys than I can think of, 3 Falcons, 4 USA Predators, a Predator AX, 3 Korean predator plus', Rotor, 3 Raptor plus', 2 Nitros, T-15, a tiger eye quilted maple predator EXP (very early Korean model and the only one I gave ever seen in that color) 5 Peavey Limiteds SSS x 2, SSH, HH, and the rare HSH with a pickguard, Predator Plus HB, Raptor Plus TK........ and others I can't recall at the moment, AND THEY ARE ALL GREAT!
Bottle Rockets Classic band . White boy blues great jam
This guy likes his T-60
Jet King is Ibanez, but I do think they're cool, would like to get my hands on one someday
That's over 25??
Nice guitars. And still you have a Carvin stack and an Alamo combo.
