Seeing @DrBeGood ’s new Epiphone this morning made me think about a P90 equipped picture thread! So show ‘em if you got ‘em!

    I’ll start with my three.

Forgot to add the Tele. The Les Paul is an Epiphone '56, the pickups are Sanford Magnetics medium wind, replaced the pots, switch, jack and had a 50's Gibson rewire done. The Tele is a Fender Nashville, the bridge pickups is a Creamery Red '79, the P90's are Sanford Magnetic low winds. I think Sanford Magnetics had to go into retirement after an accident. The Tele is a MIC Tokai, I replaced the pots and switch with ones I imported from Toneshapers, the switch is a four way, I replaced the saddles with brass, the pickups are Creamery Tele sized take on P90's 28th December 2017, James H Cadden 3w.jpg 29th May 2016, James H Cadden 2w.jpg 19th July 2016, James Cadden 8w.jpg

That’s nothing that a little bit of money can’t fix!

My Epi LP Special 1. Still probably my most played. Loves me some P-90s. Also the only one that I haven't changed out pickups on. Thought about it several times, but these stock Epiphones just sound so good, why bother?

My oh-so-humble contribution! A First Act single HB Strat converted to 2x P-90. Including the price of the guitar and new parts I had to buy like the pickups, but not counting parts from my spares, all in for about $50. I built this so I could try true P-90s at low cost, and very much like the sound of them. I do need to get around to making a nicer pick guard for it.

I do have these too. Blue Tele was my first-ever guitar build. Pickups are Rose T-90s. Epi Special ($40) needed bridge post repairs and I added the adjustable bridge to get good intonation.

Man! As a group we have one hell of an awesome guitar collection! Too bad we can’t get everyone together with their guitars for one big family photo! LOL

So far in this thread, my favorites are @JohnnyMac ’s white Strat, and @One String Sam ‘s black Les Paul! But they are all great!

How do they sound? Do they sound like regular P90’s?

  16. I've always had a preference for the P-51 instead. Cheers, Barrie.

Sound great...Guitar Madness S90's. Sound like single coils with a bad attitude.
