I don’t have a blue guitar, sadly. Maybe its time to activate GAS and get one
My main two guitars are a blue strat and an LTD Viper 301.
I want to get a Squier CV strat and put in really overpowered pickups like the Tex Mex or Texas Specials.
Wow, this thread has come back to life! Who knew there were so many blue guitars in the world!
Since I created this thread, I have acquired another blue guitar. Still in the building stages, but here it is mocked up with the parts it will have.
Just this morning, I was working on polishing the new paint job.

Following on from an earlier post here is my completed guitar........
My latest. 2003 MIM Tele that was 3TS but had huge chunks of finish missing. I went simple with light gray primer and bright blue automotive spray paint. Also added Fender USA staggered tuners, graphite saddles and a Schaller super switch. The pickups are GFS of some sort.
This was being sold in the neighborhood for $100 which included a gig bag, Alesis amp and guitar stand. I sold the amp and stand for $60, so it's like I got this guitar for $40!
It is a rare nowadays one-piece resin body Switch Vibracell Stein III. Great friend of mine changed the covers to carbon fiber faux, Gibson Firebird V pickups, modified Eldred wiring, and etc.
I am still deciding if I would call it Blue Bird or Blue Phoenix...

Picked this up the other day from FB marketplace. Got it with a Gator case. It's kind of blue.
