That sheds light on your unusual ability to create pieces of art, which in this case is guitars. My daughter has a degree in design and is also an artist. I see similar perfection in her work, although it's largely fashion design with drawing and painting on the side.

So, no string tree for it, I guess.
Even better. It still looks cool.

I primed the body with Duplicolor sandable white lacquer primer, and ordered some Krylon Acryli-Quik Smoke Gray lacquer for the color coat. Going for the shark-y color this time around.

Mocked it up after spraying the body gray. I think this color makes sense based on the guitar's name, and I haven't seen too many gray guitars. Still need to add clear coats and polish it.

8 coats of clear on the body over the last 2 days. I also sprayed some more amber on the neck to darken it some- it was looking a little too light to me.

Finally got it done, and I'm real happy the way it turned out. By lowering the neck pocket 1/8", I was able to adjust the trem saddles down to half the height they used to be for much lower action.

It looks like you have room for a single coil in the middle position? Or a blade type humbucker! Your build looks AMAZING!
