I don't add any value for a case when shopping used from private sellers, generally. So that's 100 or less discount from New. These are 450 or less right now. Seller claiming new value of 499, just isn't in line with reality right now. I don't think the used value is what they think.

I see Sam Ash has them right now for $334, mostly $409....I agree with you....Case wise I never sell a case with the low price for the guitar, unless it came with from the factory,,,gig bag only....

He says this is a reissue. Squiers don't do reissues. It's better in many ways than the original at a fraction of the original cost.

These were on sale all summer long and I got mine for $399 at Sweetwater. Even now you can get it direct from Fender for $409, and that (unlike his) includes a warranty. But if his is flawless with a hardshell case, it is absolutely worth his asking price -- don't be silly. The average price on Reverb over the past 6 months for one in mint condition with no hardshell case is $296. It's wonderful if you can do better, but he's not out of line at all.

Yes, but they lowered it (as did MF) because of the PAS sale, MF price is back up to $409, SA will be shortly methinks.



$325 w/HSC (‘specially a Gator) is a good price… even when you consider PAS was selling these for $250 from Labor Day, until they ran out before Xmas…

I bought mine used two years back for $300, I’ve never seen one listed lower (without some kind of damage) and I VERY rarely see them that low even sans case (I have saved CL, and FBM searches I run regularly).
I expect to see a bunch of these go up in the $350 range locally, and more on FBM, and reverb from guys who bought them in bulk from PAS.

This guy’s ad is just a bit snotty is all.

It's on sale everywhere right now for $409, but Fender only has it in Natural. Out of stock on the walnut and SB. GC/MF has walnut and natural, out of stock on SB.

Oh dear me...I have a Firebird for sale. The case is HUGE and one of a kind for just a Firebird, no other case is going to fit the Firebird due to it's shape and size. I added it to my selling factor as I do not store my guitars any other way, and would have no reason to keep the case. the new owner is going to want the case, a gig bag is not providing protection, the guitar is a bit hefty, drop with only being in a gig bag, you will have to call for the ambulance! LOL!

I am not looking to buy this, as I don't personally like semi hollows. I would love to see one in the same finish but solid body though
