    Hello to everyone!
I have gotten back into guitar in the last year. I played very poorly back in college....while watching my friends play and jam. I really love music and strive to improve my chops and learn how to take care of my instruments and upgrades. I still suck at playing....but, am better than I was back in the 90's. Trying to always get better though.

Usually I referee sports...but, with the current climate....there are no sports to officiate. So, spending time practicing and upgrading my small collection of between yard work and household chores. It gets so hot here in the spring and have to have stuff to do while cooling off from outdoor to-do's.

Currently, I am upgrading my 2000 Squier Bullet hardtail, 2007 Squier Strat, and swapping chrome for gold hardware on my LTD Tele. All will have upgraded pots and outputs...and a few other items as money allows.

Thanks to everyone here for all the great info and opinions. I look forward to reading and participating.

Hi mozilla and welcome aboard the ST, looking forward to seeing your finished guitar(s).
  4. Welcome to Squier Talk. You're in good company since there seems to be lots of people that have returned to playing guitar after a lengthy hiatus.
    Cheers, Barrie.

Sorry, was in the middle of cooking some lunch and took me some time to figure out how to connect my phone and computer, since both are relatively new to me.

Here are my three.....2 are currently under reconstruction and still waiting on parts and my gentle touch.

Welcome to the ST family. That's a nice looking collection you've got going there. A lot of people have picked up their dusty guitars and got back into playing since the quarantine, also a great time to get caught up on projects.

Thanks again to all of you! Super nice welcome and some real funny comments. It's good to laugh.

I actually started getting back into guitar about a year ago...but, then my guitar mentor passed away suddenly, in December, a real nice guy and native of Austin. I loved hearing his stories and being able to ask him tons of stupid beginner questions. Anyway....just couldn't pick up the guitar for a few months. It just hurt too bad.
Now the pain has subsided enough for me to be motivated to be better because of his memory.
Glad to find a group that is so welcoming.
    Happy to be here.

My other passions are pets, including raising chickens.
    Sports and Formula 1.
Bourbon and Rye whiskies...and other spirits.
    History and Star Wars.
That pretty much sums me up.

Again, big thanks to everyone here.
