Possible trade ... does this look real?

What do you value your stuff at?

If I sold everything separately, I'd get about $1140. So that's kind of expensive for a Gibby LP Studio. I see them on FBM for $900.

So I'm considering what to do about this. May not be in as much my favor as I thought.

Yes, do you think it's a bad trade?
A bad trade?
I don't know it depends on the value you place on the guitars involved.
Because I have 2 of the 80s Lead 12 MicroStacks I've been watching them.
They've been listing between $600-800 and selling.
The newer ones go for less.
I'd value the Gibson between $800-1000.
I don't know the the value for the 2 guitars your offering.
It really comes down to if you would be happy and satisfied with the deal.
Good luck

I'm thinking I could get $1140 for the gear separately. So that's a bit higher than the $800-1000. I may back out. I'm not really itching for a Gibby. It's just a good way to bring down my guitars and gear, and maybe even trade the Gibby later on.

We're meeting on Wednesday. I can decide then.

Those are just an MG15 in head configuration, coupled with two 110 cabs with very cheap speakers inside. They look cool, but are otherwise unimpressive.
Wrong... They are Marshall 3005 Lead 12 MicroStacks.
Mine are from 1985 and have Celestion G10D-25 speakers.
This one was listed 2 months ago and it is already sold.

The gibby looks real but can he take the neck off so we can see the pocket :),
and it's close enough for a fair deal, he might be a little ahead but you are not getting screwed. I find in trades it is not so much the value of the pieces but more the happiness of what you're both getting. If you're trading just to have it for a later trade or sell, then I would PASS

Yeah, I backed out. He's valuing it at $1200. That's too much.

I really don't need another Les Paul.

Thanks guys. This helped.

Is the guy named Carl from Whitestone, Queens, NY?

He made the offer.

LTD TE-406 with 60/81 EMG's
Marshall Microstack
Jackson JS-22

I think I'm coming out ahead if this is legit.

We're set to meet up on Wednesday evening.
Actually, the guy is in Brooklyn that has my FotoFlame but he does a LOT of trades/sales on Craigslist so it's very possible Carl here is just using the picture of the listing he got it from. He may not disclose properly but he does take nice pics.

I backed out. He's valuing his guitar more than it's worth. I'll just move the gear separately. Plus, I'm not really needing another LP.
