    Hey team!
I'm on vacation and saw a square pop up on the local craigslist. It's pink, so I immediately thought it was a mini. It's obviously not, it's a full size, but it's not an affinity because of the headstock and it's just got a plain white pick guard, so I'm assuming it's not one of the high-end models. I'm attaching a photo of that guitar along with the other one the guy is selling, an affinity telecaster which needs some new hardware. Can anyone identify which squire this is just by a picture of the front?
    Thanks! Screenshot_20200731-201943.png

It is called Pink...The main slang term is Strawberry Shake.

Cool. Any idea about what the model might be? I don't think it's a bullet, or an affinity because of the headstock. I don't think it's a vintage modified or a classic vibe because of the plain white pickguard. Is it an SE or something different?

It IS a Bullet.......Bullet Strat in pink, lowest end Squier, basswood thinner body.....decent guitars but usually used only 50-75 bucks max.....it's made in China, can tell by lack of truss rod hole plastic sleeve....

Is this different than shell pink?

Yes, very different - shell pink is pale, this is very very hot pink.....

Here's a stock photo of a Pink Squier Bullet Strat like the one I had.

It says "Squier Bullet Strat" and "Fender" on the headstock. I think the one in the OP photo has that too, but it's faint.

And "Shell Pink" is more like a Coral Pink, slightly orange.

So directly under the squire label is where it says bullet? I thought that said Fender. So it says bullet on the headstock closer to the end of the headstock? I could barely see that, I just thought it was dirt! Thanks. I talked the guy down to $120 for both guitars. The Affinity telecaster needs a new bridge / saddle and volume and tone knobs. On the fence about it.

Yep, after where it says SQUIER, in small lettering it says BULLET STRAT

I couldn't READ that in your photos, but I am familiar with the model and can spot it from far away - it's the only 1 ply pickguard, hot pink, small headstock, trapezoid 8mm tuner shaft, 2 string tree Squier made....

IMHO, the Bullet Strat is certainly worth half of the $120, for an entry-level guitar. It may just need heavier strings (.011s?) and a decent setup.
When I took mine back to the store I bought it from (a year or two earlier) for a trade-in, the guy checking it out played it through an amp for a bit, then looked up and said "Sweet!"

Righto. 570 Pink vs. 556 Shell Pink. I've seen 570 vary in intensity by who made it and what year.
