Old friend came home…87 Contemporary Strat

I bought my Contemporary Strat new in 86 for GuitarWorks in Sydney Australia.

Stupidly sold it 10 years later, but this week, another has come home to replace it. Feels just as I remember, like an old friend.

Oh, yes, acid jeans & red socks are coming back…..

Congratulations! I don't recall ever seeing that model in red, it's beautiful! The 80s Fujigen we're great and the contemporary series were some of the best. I can never remember, is that a st-335, or 336?

I just scored this pretty rare MIJ Squier Super Strat. It came with a Fender USA HSC that has duct tape for hinges! It was incredibly cheap, that's all I'll say. The seller said it was red when he bought it, but he did the custom paint job and decals when in high school. The pics are exactly...

I hear that! I want my first (real guitar) back.... I don't even have any pictures of it (1961 Les Paul - later to be known as the SG). I think Jake Kiszka from Greta Van Fleet has it now. There was a gear run down video of his guitar and the description of a break across the control is exactly like the one I put on mine.
