Hello from a surprisingly Sunny UK
Hello and Welcome to Squier-Talk! Can you share a picture of your tele bullet? We love pictures!
Hello Hendo, welcome to the board! I have a Bullet Tele myself.
Hey Jim, so happy with it, quality is amazing. I’m going to change up a few bits as money allows. Is yours standard or have you done anything with it
I love the bullet as it has the string through body and it’s made in Indonesia
Anyone changed the tuners, I was looking at some locking ones, don’t fancy putting extra holes in, any suggestions that use the same holes
My only changes have been to the wiring. I added a push-pull pot to put the two pickups in series, and another one to make them out of phase. Neither is necessary, I was just experimenting. I'm fine with all the stock parts. The pickups sound really good.
Welcome to S-T @Hendo76 My 1st Tele was a Bullet. Like a dummy I sold it. It's one of a few guitars I wish I had back
Welcome to the forum.
Welcome in @Hendo76
Hello Hendo, welcome to ST. I've read so many great things about the Bullet Teles, glad you're enjoying yours.
I didn't think you ever got sun in Middleborough
Welcome to ST.
Your not wrong, it’s lovely today though
Welcome. I think you'll need to ream the headstock holes to 10 mm. Someone will correct me if I'm mistaken.
My 2019 Bullet came from the factory with 10mm 2-pin tuners.
@Hendo76, I replaced mine, but not with lockers. Direct-fit replacement tuners for these Squiers are rare.
sexy black tele! and nice carpet!
Hipshot locking tuners are nice and dropped in to my Bullet Tele without any new holes or reaming. They were $48 from Amazon here in the US.
