Kinda odd. Got it in part trade. Wasn’t real thrilled, but it’s growing on me. Weird bridge. Plays nice though. Felt really small for the first few minutes, like a kids guitar.

I think the previous owner was smoking three packs a day in a 12’x20’ room.

I can’t tell from the pic, when you say feels small do you mean the neck or body itself? Looks good. Can’t tell if I like the bridge, but nice guitar.

HNGD. I have a perverse desire for a lovely Sunburst Jag and Butterscotch JM with those weird Danelectro bridges.

Looks nice. Those 24" scale necks are definitely different if you haven't played one before.

I had one, the bridge is like a Dano’s. It worked fine for me... flipped mine, too many HH guitars, and made a few bucks.

I guess the overall length. I never played a Jag before. The bridge seems to work fine, it’s just... odd. Its shape is unusual, and there’s a 1/4” of space under it. It mounts with a couple screws on the front, and a single coarse thread wood screw in the rear. Plenty solid, and if I don’t focus on it I forget it’s there.

    And, it begins...

    new bridge configuration.

Next up: making a pickguard template, making a new pickguard, installing new tuners, and swapping these humbuckers for some gold foil soapbars.

Looks good! And you can get the fun behind the bridge sounds, I dig it.

    What color pickguard you doing?

Aged white pearloid. I know a lot of folks aren’t into it, but I think it looks really classy. I considered a bunch of different colors, so we’ll see how it ends up. Once I’ve got a routing template made, it will give me a lot of ability to try different things.
