I had an eBay offer accepted by PAS a week or so ago on an 'open box' one of these and then PAS cancelled the purchase with no explanation but a refund to my card was made immediately. Over the last week, I negotiated a slightly higher bid for one that was listed on Reverb which was accepted by 'Maverick's Guitar & Gear' in Ohio. I had to pay shipping and I got it today.
The guitar was described as 'mint' and it is - still had the plastic on the pickguard and no other marks on it. After letting it warm up, I tuned it and tried it, it's good. The only observation so far is that, compared to the CV50s Tele, this has a bassey almost muffled response, even with the tone turned up. I like the fret action a lot and I paid a little over half price.
