One question: Is yours the regular Martin model or the "Special" model which I and others today (Feb. 22) just purchased? I am assuming that the "Specials" were sold only at Musician's Friend and Guitar Center. But I don't know the difference, if any, between them. I do have an Alvarez AD-710 which was an FSR offering as a counterpart to the Alvarez AD-70. The Ad-710 was cheaper and had AFAIK some mainly cosmetic differences and maybe different end pins or tuners or something like that ... but the same woods and the same bracing.
Thanks. I've seen some possible differences over at the Martin Guitar site but nothing major I think. I think this "Special" means it was an FSR sold only at MF/GC etc. I know it needs a case and I don't want to buy one so I think I will sell one of my other acoustics and keep that case ... just in case I need a case. LOL
