I just bought this beauty off of FB marketplace. I paid $300. I could have probably talked him down a little but I thought the price was more than fair. It turns out he inherited several guitars that his dad collected and most of them never played.

This is a '17 CV 50's in NOS condition. I'm no expert but it sure looks like a quarter sawn neck to me. I don't know enough to have an opinion on whether that is any better or any worse than flat but I sure do love the way it looks.

Score at $300 dollars.

That’s the closest thing these days from Squier in sheer quality to the great Squier Protones and Japanese Squier and Fender strats of the past.

Total score on the 50s Strat. Those Pickups had ALNICO 2s I believe. the lines of grain running down the back of the neck on you Pic say Qtr Sawn. that could be a lifetime guitar for you the way it is but with a solid setup. Love the 2 tone burst on mine with big belly curve.
