Yeah. They call it Resinator. I have to remember not to oil it.

Hagstrom calls then "Hagstrom Design 18:1." They look like Imperial tuners, but have 3 tiers instead of 2.

Big love for Hagstroms here, new and older ones. They are real work horses and still have the classz looks of the 70's high end guitars. Congrats buddy !

Thanks. Does the serial number G1905... mean it was made in 2019? It's logical, but serial number are often not logical.

The Hagstrom website recommends oiling the Resinator fingerboard with parafin oil once a year.

Yep, you're right 2019, it works only for Korean and Chinese made, 2004 until now. Older ones from Sweden requieres the help from a little Hagstrom booklet made in the early 80's.

I know nothing about these guitars, in fact I know very little about guitars full stop, since I only just started playing guitar in the last couple of months. But I can say, that i just happened across a vid on YouTube the other day, where the guy was talking about his favourite guitars, and he had one of these, and he said that he absolutely loved it and that it was absolutely great. So I've heard good things.

    Very nice.

my brother has a few Hagstroms from the 60s. A Hagstrom III guitar, the. The matching 4 and 8 string basses. They did use a lot of Burns parts interchangeably -as well as the Bi Sonic pickups which also ended up on Guilds. Such as Berry Oakley’s Guild Starfire bass (also Jack Casady) but Berry later moved the pickup to his Jazz bass.

this is a pretty cool guitar and as I like to see it, something a bit different than the Dot, 335/9 crowd. Quite a bit of character and uniqueness to stand out, high quality no doubt.

    I’m not a pedal guy.

Where do you source parafin oil, I see it in big bottles for lamps, seems like it's flammable & who would ever need so much ? starts at $15 bucks

LOL. Was that from Muppet Show, or? I have never seen that show.

She is real Swedish cook. Famous here.

At least Gordon Ramsay said that he liked real one more than that ''Swedish chef''.
