    It seems to be the logical next step.

    If guitarists -- or, at least younger guitarists -- don't accept it It'll be, I think, for one or more of these reasons:

    1, The guitar itself doesn't have the feel/quality we/they want.
    2. It is marketed poorly.
    3. It forces players to realize and admit what we/they often prefer to deny: That a great deal of what we currently create, at least tone wise, is fake, artificial and largely contrived.

    We older guys likely won't accept it because we're stuck in the mud old farts. :D


    This fits in well to my mind with the conversation that has generated around Eddie's ongoing Line 6 thread.
