Thats pitiful ;(
I understand , when the shipping is virtually half the price of the guitar it makes it a difficult purchase. I still don`t understand why Thomann don`t do a distribution deal of their products to a reputable company in the states , i think they would clean up with the size of the market in north America .
How do you like it?
Wow, that looks like stuff you’d see on a 30-40 year old guitar (especially the body splits, and the binding ripple).
Glarr-ing issues Glarry!!!
I love it. I shopped around for loads of different 335, Dots, and even 339 models both new and used. This one was a clear winner.
Extra piece of binding in the white bag
And even with a nut like this and 2mm action at the 12th fret, I still have some fret buzz.
That's horrific. Man.
Yeah, not even remotely close to happy with this one.
Man, at first I was excited when I saw the color. What a shame with all those details
Wow that tops my IYV experience. Good luck on the return. That is ridiculous.
So far they have offered a $20 credit for the "surface scratching issue"
That's weird because a guy over at a FF FB group just posted pics of his red model guitar and yours looks worse than his. He said "After initial inspection I contacted Glarry for a replacement. They told me to keep the garbage guitar or donate it."
P.M. and I can send you the FB link and the name of the group which you will have to join if you are not a member. I guess I could post that here but I'm not certain if that is OK with our rules.
I’d skip straight to “I am contacting PayPal/my credit card company to dispute for damaged merchandise.”
I do hope drewcp contacts me because he can use the FB user's comments to escalate his claim. Well, so much for Glarry customer service. What a rude answer but I think the $20 is just a stock reply for any claim.
That sucks man! I hope you can get all your money back. Was considering a Glarry but not anymore.
I've had good luck with IYV guitars and also Grote.
I am in three different Glarry groups on FB and I think I have seen the post you are talking about.
They did ask what I thought it would cost to fix it. I said $600, it probably needs a complete refinish.
This was not a Glarry group; it was a FF group. But maybe the member was also a member of a Glarry group and posted there too. He had a red Glarry.
