New amp day...... With a twist

Adjusted accordingly. Now the plan is to refinish the ole grey mare speaker cab the same color as the head. I'm waiting to see if I can get the reverb going. Same grill cloth head and cab should come out great. I mean I think.lol. and big thank you to surfgreen for the verb tank. Mine looks fine. But who knows. Just has a loud HUM or buzz???

    What was it? I couldn't tell much by looking at the photo of the chassis. Good for you!!

    I know that. Was wondering what the problem was with the reverb.

    Ok hoss. It looks like when one of the rca plugs are pushed down too far seems like it wants to short on something.. I just backed it out about 1/16" or so and works fine...

    Very cool. My first guitar amp was a Gibson Thor bass amp I bought at a yard sale for $10 in 1976. It looked a lot like your Hawk. My '66 Jaguar sounded pretty good through that amp. Won't surprise anyone that I wish I still had them.

    Yes I'm actually impressed. They sometimes get a bad rap... The old gibson amps oh well that's ok. I'm in this baby for bout a Hunert ..
