    I can't stop ya from playing it but if you take wire cutters and snip all the strings in front of the bridge that will slow you down for a few minutes!

    So true @jamndad . Even when it was staring me down at the pawn shop, I thought it looked hideous and left. And then for some reason, I went back for it the next morning.

    Now I can’t take my eyes off its beauty.

    I understand. I have a CV Tele in BSB that's in regular rotation, here. The original A5 pickups were fine, but I use the guitar as my mule for evaluating mods and it's got a set of Fender AVRI '63 Custom Telecaster pickups in it. They're staying in, for now.
