My new straps just showed up...

I've never used a 2-piece. Which way does the long thin tail attach, to the butt or the upper bout?

What works for me is to find the desired length with a normal adjustable strap, and do your best to match it to the "two-piece" version. YMMV!

I had to go through every position, and ended up on the shortest adjustment, but the end button slot on the tail. I know lots of people like the low slung style, but that doesn't work for me with arthritic hands and barre style play. I hold the geet probably about 45*.

Not low slung… I’m just too big!
