Any guesses at what this is? Guy had it listed as an epiphone body, but the bolt on versions wouldn't have a 3 ply binding on the front and as far as I know they never used a control cavity cover like that, but that cover does look familiar. Does not look like an Epi to me. But I could be wrong.

Epi never ever had a control-cavity routing like this

I was thinking lotus. And looked up a few. They all had the normal route for the cc.

Agree...seems oddly familiar. Cort? or one of the Rondo brands i.e. Agile or SX?

I checked on reverb at both Cort and agile and harmony and they all were similar to Epiphone style cc

I'm was thinking if it could be mij, or early mik? If you look at the humbucker covers they have really round edges like the old crappy mij's that were actually single coils under a humbucker cover. If it weren't for that weird cavity cover it would guess mik Hondo. It's mainly just driving me nuts because I know I've seen that cover somewhere before.

A buddy gave me an old Global LP copy a number of years ago (gave it to one of my sons after fixing it up). It had the same shape control cover as Epis. Definitely not like that.
