So you play something a bit newer, in your own time, I can wait to hear it... :D

A little bit more drive with the Marshall amp. I've grown to like the Fender more though. The Marshall is a monster though.

All I've got is a rough mix with the vocals just slightly hot of a song I've been working on with some friends.

What can I say. Im still trying to get the backing band "right"... So im just not recording strings lately... But hopefully will be soon here at some point once I can get the band doing better things heh... Anyways this is my latest attempt to figure this stuff out...

Behringer Wasp synth, Behringer Model D synth(Mini Moog clone) and the 3 Korg Volca FM synths are all sequenced by the Elektron Model:Samples unit on the left. Which also does sample based drums on 1 of its tracks.

The M:S unit on the right just does sample based stuff... Im lettin stuff run on lately as im trying to learn how to play the synths using the 16 trigger/step buttons on the Model:Samples unit which also sequences the synths as well... So if the track is longer it gives me more time to try things and test things out but still build grooves that go on as well. So its not just a bunch of random noise... Lots of playing the Wasp(Bass tones), Model D and Volca FM(organ sounds) with the 16 trigger buttons from about 2 minutes in until the end...

Thanks. Its hard to get these machines to sorta seem human but the more and more I try stuff and figure things out it seems that stuff is slowly getting better. Was hopin things would go a little faster on the figuring it out part but I started out as a newb so its was like I was trying to figure out a guitar from scratch or somethin.

Thinkin at this point tho at least the end results should be coming out better then what they have been. And now I can build from there instead of the ground zero point where ur just trying to figure out how to hook things up and the basics of the machines and stuff... These Elektron MS units are really killer as they are like the drum machine from hell but can call up any kind of sample. Then they can also sequence synths too... So their like this little brain that does a ton of different things that u can use to create full on bands. Their really cool...
