I have this on vinyl. When I want country it's Johnny Cash or George Jones, thank you very much.

Not a country music person by a long shot but he's the best. That video for Hurt is one of the most painful things to watch. Not being insulting, it's just probably the one of the best music videos Iv've ever seen. I can't watch it anymore.
Time to dig up all the vinyl again...

He was the very 1st concert I went to.
Parents took me as a kid of 8-9 years old
So that puts it at 1968-69. When a boy named Sue came out.
    Yeah.... I wanna play music.

One of the few records I have is "I Walk the Line".
Two of my most respected artists off all time are Johnny Cash and Jimmie Vaughan. Both IMO were and are class acts.

My brother sent me a record player a couple months ago and a collection of records, Some were records we had as kids. The only record I had was the Cash one. When my wife's grandpa passed I was given his acoustic guitar and the record.

Johnny at Folsom and San Quentin are my faves. I was very young when they came out. I have both on CD.

Also, another good one is Charlie Pride In Person Live at Panther Hall (1969)

Cash influenced me more than anyone except my dad and two grandfather's. One gramps taught me to bet horses and the other one taught me to drink lol

Good stuff.. I like music most when it's raw and gritty... But I also love it when they know what they are doing in a studio..
